2025 Peace Colloquy Houselessness & Community Action
Join the Peace Colloquy as we come together in sacred community to explore one of the most urgent justice issues of our time: houselessness. Through stories, learning, and dialogue, we’ll examine the systemic roots of housing insecurity and how faith communities can be bold advocates for shelter, dignity, and belonging.
This gathering will feature keynote speakers with lived experience, interactive workshops, theological reflection, and space for collective discernment. Whether you’re already involved in housing justice or just beginning to ask questions, all are welcome.
Together, we will:
- Listen deeply to voices often left unheard
- Explore practical and spiritual responses to houselessness
- Build relationships that spark hope and action
- Envision a world where everyone has a place to call home
Come be part of a movement rooted in peace, compassion, and community transformation.
Annual Stone Church Garage Sale
Join us at the Annual Stone Church Community of Christ Garage Sale. Open Aug 13 & 14 from 8:30am to 5pm, Aug 15 from 8:30am to 7pm and Aug 16 from 8:30am to 1pm. Daily discounts and Fill-a-bag on the last day!
Accepting donations on floor A of the church starting Aug 4th, 9am to 3pm Mon- Sat. (Sorry, but we do not accept sleeper sofas, mattresses, old style tube TV, old style exercise equipment, outdated textbooks, or encyclopedias)
CSL Drop-In Center Giving Opportunity
Through August 15th, we will be collecting bicycles, helmets, and bike locks to donate to the drop-in center, which will be raffled off to our beloved unhoused neighbors. If you have a donation, please contact Poul Wilson to facilitate pick-up. The more donations we receive, the more we can promote the mobility of our neighbors.
