Associate Mission Center Financial Officer

The Associate MCFO is a promoter of Disciples Generous Response and promotes whole-life stewardship as an integral component of discipleship, modeling public ministry that is aligned with the church’s identity, mission, message, and beliefs. The Associate MCFO collaborates and works with the MCFO to manage the financial assets within the mission center, representing the MCFO with the World Church, congregations, affiliates, governmental entities and community partners.

Lake Doniphan Day Camp Director

This position is responsible for developing, facilitating, and overseeing the Day Camp program with the Executive Director—in accordance with Community of Christ and the American Camping Association requirements and applicable safety, health, and accreditation standards—to serve the program needs of patrons and guests. The Day Camp Director is responsible for planning and scheduling all activities as well as supervising, guiding, and rotating day camp staff. The Day Camp Director is also responsible for registrations and parent communications. Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed, and the ability to fill in for other staff roles in their absence.

Campus RV Park Seasonal Maintenance

Maintain grounds and facilities for campground property to provide a safe, attractive, and clean environment for both staff and guests. Provide preventative maintenance to avoid the need for major repairs to grounds, equipment and facilities. Back up to resident manager when she/he is unavailable or on vacation.

Peace Pavilion- Docent

This part-time position will interact and guide children, adults, teachers, other visitors, and others to promote peaceful learning concepts presented in the exhibits areas - Peace for Me, Peace for Us, Peace for Everyone, and Peace for the Planet.

Volunteer Staff at Peace Pavilion

The Pavilion will be opened Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteer opportunities are available in 4 to 8 hour blocks. Positions available for service include
• Docent – guiding individuals and groups through the exhibit areas of Peace for Me, Peace for Us, Peace for Everyone, and Peace for the Planet.
• Greeting and front desk – greet, answer questions, answer the phone, and sell tickets.
• Building Support/Events Support – assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the facility as needed; support event rentals through set-up, presence at the event, and clean-up.
