Campus RV Park Manager

The Campus RV Park is looking for a talented, motivated and detail-oriented individual to oversee the management of our approx. 4-acre facility. Located in the heart of historic Independence, Missouri, with numerous attractions within walking distance; the greater Kansas City area is within a short drive. The qualified individual for this position should have at least eight to ten years of management experience, preferably in a campground, hotel, resort, or an institution (school, health care facility, etc.). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: the management of operations, buildings and property repairs/maintenance, personnel and marketing..

IHQ HVAC/ Maintenance Specialist

Responsible for performing maintenance tasks for the multiple church owned buildings. Responsibilities include the repair of building systems, life safety systems, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, documentation of work and other duties relating to the operation of commercial buildings. This position is relied upon to operate, maintain and repair commercial heating, ventilating, air conditioning; trouble-shooting and repair of electrical circuits and devices. Knowledgeable in plumbing repair and new installation. Be on call for emergencies. Overtime work is required during conferences, major events or programs. This person must be able to keep up with work demands and be independent enough to be a self-starter and use time wisely. Provide the Facility Services Team Lead with necessary information as to the conditions of the buildings and identify any potential hazards or improvements needed. Must possess and maintain a valid driver license to drive Church owned vehicles. This position is onsite at the Temple Complex.

Peace Pavilion- Docent

This part-time position will interact and guide children, adults, teachers, other visitors, and others to promote peaceful learning concepts presented in the exhibits areas - Peace for Me, Peace for Us, Peace for Everyone, and Peace for the Planet.

Volunteer Staff at Peace Pavilion

The Pavilion will be opened Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteer opportunities are available in 4 to 8 hour blocks. Positions available for service include
• Docent – guiding individuals and groups through the exhibit areas of Peace for Me, Peace for Us, Peace for Everyone, and Peace for the Planet.
• Greeting and front desk – greet, answer questions, answer the phone, and sell tickets.
• Building Support/Events Support – assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the facility as needed; support event rentals through set-up, presence at the event, and clean-up.
