In the letter below, the apostles serving in the United States encourage everyone to keep in mind what matters most as we journey through these next several weeks towards our national elections. In the public arena, division, anger, and violence seem to capture the news headlines and attention of people. Our journey as a prophetic people of faith, however, calls us to be at the forefront of healthy dialogue, compassion, and understanding as we respond to important issues while listening for the Spirit’s invitation and call. May Community of Christ help to bring healing to our nation through our witness.
