Lake Doniphan Seasonal Leadership Program

Positions

Come and join our summer leadership program! We’re looking for people 19 years of age or older who have completed one year of college to help in various areas:

Summer Activities staff – Training, certification and responsibility will focus on three areas Program, Administration/Hospitality and Water Safety. Specific responsibilities may include lifeguard, waterfront, sports, office and guest support, pool management, archery instruction, small watercraft instruction, leading games/activities, sanitary/safety requirements, etc. Participants will reside at the campgrounds and work 35-45 hours per week from approx. May 23 through August 7.
Kitchen Assistant – Training, certification and responsibility will focus on Hospitality and Food Service. Specific responsibilities may include office and guest support, meal preparation, inventory, sanitary/safety requirements, etc. Staff may live on site during summer season and be provided housing and meals.
Grounds Keeper – Training, certification and responsibility will focus on Grounds Upkeep and Maintenance. Specific responsibilities may include office and guest support, landscape maintenance, small engine maintenance/care, inventory, sanitary/safety requirements, etc. Staff may live on site during summer season and be provided housing and meals.
Housekeeper – Training, certification and responsibility will focus on cleanliness and Program Hospitality. Specific responsibilities may include office and guest support, inventory, sanitary/safety requirements, etc. Staff may live on site during summer season, meals will be provided when Lake Doniphan provides meals for groups.

HVAC/Maintenance Specialist- IHQ

Responsible for performing maintenance tasks for the multiple church owned buildings. Responsibilities include the repair of building systems, life safety systems, preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, documentation of work and other duties relating to the operation of commercial buildings. This position is relied upon to operate, maintain and repair commercial heating, ventilating, air conditioning; trouble-shooting and repair of electrical circuits and devices. Knowledgeable in plumbing repair and new installation. Be on call for emergencies. Overtime work is required during conferences, major events or programs. This person must be able to keep up with work demands and be independent enough to be a self- starter and use time wisely. Provide the Facility Services Team Lead with necessary information as to the conditions of the buildings and identify any potential hazards or improvements needed. Must possess and maintain a valid driver license to drive Church owned vehicles. This position is onsite at the Temple Complex.
