Outreach International Interns are offering a $1,000.00 college scholarship to a SPEC camper (or group of campers) by hosting a youtube contest with their new campaign "Small Change for Big Change" to show what good the youth can do for the world.  For further information go to youtube.com and search "Spec 2010 Small Change For Big Change".

• July 15 Moonlight Movie A free movie will be shown at the Independence Square, on the west wall of the Pharoah Theatre located at 114 West Maple. The movie, The Princess & The Frog, will be shown at 9:00 p.m. Bring a chair, or rent a chair for $1. Concessions available. In case of rain, the movie will be rescheduled for the following Sunday.
• July 17 Project Shine Project Shine provides another opportunity for community members, parents, faculty, and staff to gather together, roll up their sleeves, and put an extra shine on five of our schools in the Independence School District: Central Mission has been asked to provide volunteers for Randall and Ott Elementary schools.
