Food Service & Hospitality Manager for Lake Doniphan

Lake Doniphan Conference & Retreat Center is looking for a talented, motivated and detail-oriented individual to oversee the Food Service & Hospitality Management of our 300-acre facility located at the northeast edge of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area in western Missouri. The qualified individual for this position will have at least five years of food management experience in an institution (school, health care facility, etc.), camp, resort or retreat center environment. Related Bachelor’s Degree required.

Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Manager for Lake Doniphan

Lake Doniphan Conference & Retreat Center is looking for a talented, motivated and detail-oriented individual to oversee the Facilities and Grounds Maintenance function of our 300-acre facility located at the northeast edge of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area in western Missouri. The qualified individual for this position will have at least five years of facilities and grounds maintenance management experience in an institution (school, health care facility, etc.), camp, resort or retreat center environment. Related Bachelor’s Degree required.

New Expressions Formation Leader

The Formation Leader will work with field leaders and volunteers in developing and implementing a new expression of community and mission at the Temple in Independence, MO, USA. This includes: 1) experimenting with new language, form, and expression of Christ-centered community in order to reach new people, especially young adults, the unchurched, and those who describe themselves as "spiritual but not religious;" 2) exploring opportunities for spiritual formation and compassionate ministry and action focused on peace, reconciliation, and healing of the spirit that meet diverse needs; 3) developing and implementing practices of invitation and generosity that support the new expression and worldwide mission; 4) participating in feedback, communication, and collaboration with other mission expansion and new expression teams and ministers. Required to be Ordained Community of Christ Aaronic Priest or Melchesidic priesthood office.
